Lamborghini and Babolat Unveil the BL002: The Next Evolution in High-Performance Padel

Lamborghini and Babolat are back with the next chapter in their high-performance padel collaboration. Following the success of the BL001, the two brands now introduce the BL002—an advanced yet accessible racquet designed for both padel enthusiasts and supercar aficionados.

Set to launch in April 2025, the BL002 harnesses Lamborghini’s expertise in carbon fiber technology and Babolat’s legacy in racquet sports. Weighing 360 grams, it features an ultra-rigid monocoque frame crafted from 3K carbon and Koridion foam—materials also found in Lamborghini’s supercars. This innovative construction maximizes energy restitution, delivering an ideal balance of power and precision on the court.

The BL002 will be available in two Lamborghini-inspired colorways—green and black—with a limited production run of just 5,000 units. Unlike its predecessor, which was developed in Sant’Agata Bolognese, the BL002 was fully designed and engineered at the Babolat Padel Studio in Barcelona. Lamborghini’s engineers collaborated closely with Babolat’s team, bringing their expertise in advanced materials and manufacturing techniques to the project.

“This partnership unites two worlds—racquet sports and luxury automotive innovation,” said Ranieri Niccoli, Chief Manufacturing Officer of Automobili Lamborghini. Eric Babolat, CEO of Babolat, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the BL002 represents a shared commitment to continuous innovation and high-performance design.

The BL002 will be available for purchase in April 2025 via Babolat’s official website and select retailers worldwide.
